Answer:
Pros--Lower cost; Easy installation, do not require an HVAC technician to install (again, saving money).
Cons--Usually visible inside and outside of the wine cellar; Condenser may be noisy; May not be suitable for your application due to ventilation requirements.
Note: Self-contained units require adequate ventilation on the exhaust side of the unit to dissipate the heat generated during operation. Also the condenser intake temperature should not exceed 85℉/30℃
There are three types of cellar cooling units: self-contained, ceiling type split system and through-the-wall(available in the last quarter of year 2021), which can meet the demands of air conditioning in most wine cellars.
Self-contained type with two capacities and specially designed for smaller wine cabinet and wine wall.
Split system with evaporator and condenser separated installed in different places, 5 cooling capacities are available in Thenow
Answer: Of course. Functionally, our self-contained cellar cooling units can be divided into two types: plug-in single cooling and constant temperature and humidity units. Single cooling type can only keep the temperature level in the cabinet, its small in size, flexible and convenient to install, especially suitable for wine cabinets under 3 cubic meters. Constant temperature and humidity units with built-in wet film humidifier and PTC heater, cannot only keep the temperature level inside the cabinet but also the humidity. It is the better choice for clients who have relatively high requirements for temperature and humidity of the cellar.
Answer:
We all know that condensate water will be generated when the cooling units works. The common condensate treatment method is: connect the condensate pipe to the condensate pan and drain the condensate to the nearest suitable place. However, the installation environment of the wine cellar is diverse, and the installation site of some projects may not be convenient to connect to the drainage pipe. Therefore, Thenow R&D team developed a self-absorption and self-evaporating all-in-one cooling unit. There is no need to connect the drain pipe separately, and the installation is really easy and convenient.
