Indoors climate control generally refers to houses, offices, industries, movie theaters, restaurants, shopping malls, cars, ships, and planes. Because different air pollution sources are exhausted indoors or outdoors continuously or from time to time, the pollutants will be accumulated in sealed places under the circumstances of poor atmospheric conditions, doing harm to the health. When people spend the majority of their time indoors, the humidity will be increased, threatening to the furniture and sanitation. It takes 90% time of people to stay indoors, so the quality of indoor climate influences the working quality and efficiency directly, leading to a focus on how indoor air pollutant affects people's health. Improving the indoor climate and processing risk assessment are helpful to promote environmental management and human health. In addition, heating and cooling are needed respectively in winter and summer to keep the preference temperature indoors.
The challenge
Edition Research institutions found that the air quality index of the environment in common household, schools, all kinds of typical offices and buildings indicates the serious problems are CO2 which is on the high side, volatile organic compounds( formaldehyde) and high concentration of biological contamination, which are caused by weak atmospheric conditions. Also, the application of cable to detecting system and the difficulties of construction and laying play roles in it. The problems are briefly described below:
The problems of concentrations of carbon dioxide(CO2)
The causes of FCU system mostly being applied involve excessive densities use of population, improper setting of air conditioners and inadequate air output in offices and insufficient heights of most floors. At the same time, not enough air from outdoors is delivered and too many compartments are in the offices so that the efficiency of replacement is low and the concentration of CO2 indoors is high.
The concentration of HCHO and TVOC
A serious problem commonly appears in offices is the excessive concentration of indoor volatile organic pollutants which will increase due to poor ventilation systems and most building materials having volatile organic solvents, especially the concentrations of HCHO and TVOC generally tested to be over.
The concentration of biological pollutants
Tropical island climate means the annual average relative humidity reaches more than 80%, thus the external environment will easily be hotbed for biological pollutants. It is shown in a testing result taken for a long time, the concentration of general pollutants will be higher than WHO, so it is suggested that 1000CFU/m3 value should be regulated.
